My friend Karen had the great idea to start a book club. I love reading, I always have. I am always bugging Karen about what new books she would recommend. Our friends Emily and Amey love to read too, so May 1st is the official start date. May is Karen's pick, so May's book will be:
I haven't read it since high school, but I remember liking it. I'll let you know :)

Update!!
In my previous post I explained how we ended up with Jack. We named him Jack after Jack Sparrow because he has a strange little beard. Anyway we call Jack our red headed step child out of love, but I think in his mind he thinks he has never been anywhere else. He has made himself right at home. He loves to play and run around, and he is getting along with the other dogs really well. Hunter & Abbie are doing great and have adjusted to the new house really well. Rocko decided that he did not like walking on tile floor. He would be walking along perfectly fine, and then as soon as he hit the tile he would lock up and start to shake and whimper. So we took him to the Dr Scott (our vet) and he put Rocko on puppy prozac. Here's a before and after picture.

I'm just kidding :) He's not comatose. He is actually doing really well. And I think he is happier because he doesn't get all freaked out over every little thing. Too bad prozac doesn't cure bad dog syndrome, because if it did, the couch wouldn't look like this.......
Georgia is having a few problems too. Her problem is that she's too happy. Georgia always hit her tail on everything because she get's so happy and excited. We always thought she didn't have any feeling in it. She would hit it hard sometimes, and it would start bleeding. It got bad enough that we took her to the vet. Dr. Scott said that she has "Happy Tail". He said that in most cases, they have to remove the tail. They wrapped up her tail with lots of padding. The only problem is that her tail is so fast that the wrap never lasts more than a few hours. We have tried everything to keep it on there, but no luck. So we are going to have her tail removed :(
This last picture I couldn't resist putting up. This is what Hunter looked like when she was napping today.

PUPPY FOR SALE...$0.00
Last week Christy found a stray dog when they pulled up to their house. I'm still not sure exactly how, but for some reason it is my responsibility now. I put flyers up in their neighborhood, but nobody has called :(
I am not home enough to have a dog and I don't even have a yard to put him in. I feel guilty that he is always stuck in the house by himself. He is such a sweetheart, and I just can't bring myself to take him to the pound. So I am begging... if you or anyone you know wants a cute little dog...PLEASE let me know. He is small (maybe 15 lbs) and really sweet. He loves people and other dogs. He loves playing and running around with kids. He is a good car rider, and he is already house trained. From what I can tell he is still a puppy, I'm sure he is only a year or two old. Please let me know if you guys know anyone who might be interested. THANK YOU!!
